Some towns in Ekiti State have experienced the first rain in year 2023.
The towns that witnessed the rain which lasted for about Twenty-Five minutes were Ado Ekiti, the State capital, Ido Ekiti, Ikogosi Ekiti, Ilawe Ekiti and Oye Ekiti.
Residents told Radio Nigeria that there was no sign that it would rain in all the places that witnessed the first rain.
They however prayed for adequate and timely rain this year to facilitate bountiful harvest.
