The Wife Nasarawa State Governor Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi Sule, has drummed support to Presidential Candidate of All Progressives Congress APC Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Abdullahi Sule and all other APC candidates in the next month general election.
The First lady made the call in Akwanga
while addressing women from Nasarawa Eggon and Wamba local government areas of the state.
Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi Sule who was on a meet the Women tour in the state, said it became necessary to meet with women and sensitize them on the importance of participation in politics and the democratic process.
The governor’s wife also called on the women and other nigerians, who are yet to collect their Permanent Voter Cards PVCs to do so to exercise their rights during the next month general election.
According to her, it is only with the PVCs that Women will vote Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Abdullahi Sule and other APC candidates in the general election.
“As APC Government at both the national and state levels have performed well and still doing well in touching on our peoples’ lives positively,” she said.
She urged the women to always support their husbands for the betterment of their families and the society at large, maintained that, more empowerment of women and other citizens is on the way.
On their parts, Former Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs Mary Enwongulu and the State APC Women leader Mrs Blessing Ebuga among other women, drummed support for Tinubu, Governor Abdullahi Sule and all other APC candidates during the State wide meet the Women tour in the northern zone of nasarawa State.
They explained that President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Abdullahi Sule’s led APC government has empowered and still empowering the women and other people, hence, the need for nigerians to give their votes to APC during the elections.
In a remark, The Executive Chairman of Akwanga local government area Alhaji Safiyanu Isa, commended Abdullahi Sule for his developmental strides across the state.
Earlier, The delegation was earlier at the Palace of Chun Mada, Pastor Samson Gamu Yare to solicit for his royal blessings where the traditional ruler stressed that every well meaning individual in the state has no option than to vote Abdullahi Sule for the second term.
