2023: Kwankwaso Sets Priorities If Elected Nigeria’s President

Former Minister of Defence, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has set education as one of his priorities if elected as president of Nigeria in the 2023 general elections.

Rabiu Kwankwaso made this known in Gusau the Zamfara State Capital while addressing newsmen shortly after commissioning some New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP party offices across the state.

Kwankwaso who was also the former Kano State governor and presently the Presidential Candidate of NNPP said his administration would also give priority to youth empowerment as a means of rebuilding the country.

According to him, education is the foundation of both human, material, natural, physical, economic and social development of any nation to enable citizens become self reliant.

He added that, over 20 million children were out-of-school in nigeria and pledged to ensure that, they receive sound education, from primary school to tertiary level.

The Presidential candidate further explained that, the socio-economic and political challenges currently confronting the country were direct consequences of poor education that had resulted in poverty and unemployment among the teeming youth.

As former Minister of Defence, Kwankwaso assured to make difference as the two ruling parties in the past have failed to strategies efforts to address the issue of security challenges prevailing northern region and the country at large.

The former governor also thanked supporters of the party for the warm reception, and expressed optimism that NNPP would win the 2023 elections despite propaganda directed to underrate NNPP and its popularity across the country.
