The people of Niger state have endorsed the All Progessives Congress APC presidential candidate Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next President of the country come twenty twenty three.
They came out enmasse to support him during the Niger state APC Presidential and gubernatorial campaign flag-off rally in Minna.
The mammoth crowd who came out as early as eight o’clock in the morning and started trooping into the trade fair compex venue for the campaign rally with many people trecking from two to three kilometer journey to have a glimpse of the APC presidentiial candidate the Jagaban whose title was given to him from Niger state.
Entering into the arena there were large crowd of people with various groups holding posters endorsing Tinubu, Shettimma and the APC governorship candidate Umar Mohammed Bago as well as other people vying for other elective positions from the party.
Tinubu was accompanied by his running mate and former Borno state Governor Senator Kashim Shittima Senate President, Ahmed Lawan Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger state, the APC Niger state Governorship candidate, Umar Bago, former APC Chairman, Adams Oshiomole and state Governors Jigawa Kebbi Plateau and Kano state.
Tinubu’s arrival at the venue was greeted with cheers and shouts of ‘We want Tinubu’ ‘We want you’.
When he climbed the podium to speak, the crowd began shouting, ‘we want Tinubu, we want Tinubu’.
Addressing the people, Tinubu urged the people to come out enmasse to vote the people as he called for support for the state APC governorship candidate Umar Bago and the Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello who is going for the Senatorial seat of Niger North Senatorial District.
Senator Bola Tinubu and his team proceeded to the eastern bypass to commission the Tinubu/Shetima campaign office of the north central zone in Minna which houses a situation room for the twenty twenty three general elections in Minna.
The APC Presidential campaign was donated by the Publisher Blueprint Newspaper and Chairman, Strategic Communication Bola Tinubu Presidential Campaign Council Mohammed Idris Malagi who also donated some operational vehicles and tricycles for APC campaign in Niger state.
