Federal Fire Service has organized a Town Hall meeting to enlighten the public on the importance of fire management and control.
The Area Commandant Federal Fire Service Zaria zone CSF Aminu Amadu stated this during the Town Hall meeting held in Sabon Gari Zaria
CSF Aminu Amadu explained that the aim of the meeting was to educate the public, especially youths on new techniques of firefighting and control in residential, market, and public places.
He pointed out that community disaster management was very important, especially during the dry season.
CSF Aminu Amadu called on people across the Zazzau emirate to intensify efforts by participating actively in firefighting and control in modern ways.
In an interview, Garkuwan Ayyukan Zazzau Dr. Balarabe Ibrahim MUSA who represented the emir of Zazzau Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli called on stakeholders on education policy and three tiers of government to include the fire fighting skills in the curriculum of education.
Dr, Balarabe Ibrahim Musa charged households to use the skills they have acquired in firefighting techniques to save their lives and property.
Garkuwan Ayyukan Zazzau also reiterated the commitment of Zazzau emirate to support the Federal Fire Service Zaria in the zone to effectively carry out its duty across the emirate.
The town Hall meeting is one of the series of activities designed to mark Federal Fire Service ember months.
