Kwara State Government says it will punish any head of tertiary institutions caught in illegal recruitment of staff.

The State Commissioner for Tertiary Education Dr. Alabi Abolore, gave the warning while speaking with Journalists in Ilorin.

He said all those fingered in the rumoured recruitment going on at the Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin, will be sanctioned to serve as a deterrent.

Dr. Abolore expressed displeasure over the alleged selected recruitment in the institution.

The Commissioner maintained that all recruitment of either casual, teaching or non teaching staff have been put on hold until further notice.
