AFCSC Concludes Final Phase Of Ubiak Isin

Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji, has conducted the final phase of Ubiak Isin for junior course ninety-four.

Exercise Ubiak Isin is a bi-annual exercise organised by the College to assess students’ understanding of counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency operations.

Addressing newsmen shortly after the exercise, Commandant of the College, Air Vice Marshal Olurotimi Anthony Tuwase explained that the exercise was also aimed at assessing the students’ on the practical aspect of the exercise.

Represented by Commodore Promise Dappa, the Commandant disclosed that the exercise comprise of combat phase, planning operations and execution, gun attack among others.

The Commandant assured Nigerians that with the training acquired by the students, they are now better equipped to confront all forms of security challenges bedevilling the country.

Air Vice Marshal Tuwase therefore solicited for timely and credible information from the general public for effective service delivery.

In furtherance of its corporate social responsibility, the College also conducted a medical outreach programme and distribution of palliatives to residents of Anguwan Lawyer community in Wusono district of Igabi Local Government Area.

Some of the items and medical services offered by the College to the community included bags of rice, maize, beans and oil.

Others were treated mosquito nets, mattresses as well as free medical services.

Other agencies who participated in the exercise included the National Emergency Management Agency-NEMA, and the Red Cross.
