A call for the immediate arrest of the killers of Labour Party Women Leader, Mrs. Victoria Chintex in Manchok Kaura local government area of Kaduna State has been advocated.
National Director, Inter-Religious Affairs of Labour Party and Coalition for a Better & Brighter Nigeria, Dr. Polycarp Gankon made the call in a statement issued to newsmen in Kaduna.
The statement explained that the gruesome killing of the woman which happened last week has left people of the area very saddened.
It added that the Labour Party as a whole outrightly condemn the killing of the innocent woman who has over the years contributed to the development and growth of the state.
The statement narrated that her husband narrowly escaped the assassination attack which had left him with bullet wounds, a development they insisted was worrisome.
Dr. Polycarp Danladi Gankon therefore called on the State Government to do everything possible to investigate, by setting up a committee to fish out those responsible for the heinous act.
While sympathizing with the family of the deceased ,the labour party and her immediate community, he appealed that the state government should continue to improve on security situations in the state.
