Electricity : Kamazou Community Elated As Gubernatorial Candidate Donates Transformer

Gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC in Kaduna state Senator Uba Sani has donated
500/33KVA transformer to Kamazau Community in Chikun local government area of the state which have been in total darkness in the past one year.

While presenting the transformer at the community, Malam Uba Sani said the donation was to assist members of the community particularly women who engages in small scale business at home .

The Senator presented by the Director of Protocols of the party’s campaign council in Kaduna Musa reiterated that if voted into power, he would bring more development in the area and the state in general.

Malam Uba Sani also pledged to embark on human capital development project with a view to improving the lives of residents.

He assured that he would not relent in according priority on the issue of women empowerment programmes across the state.

The Gubernatorial Candidate called on the people of the community to make good use of the transformer and to protect it from vandals.

The District head of Kamazau community , Mr Jagaba Makama expressed deep appreciation to the Senator for the gesture, saying it would go along away in addressing problem of electricity in the community.

According to him, it had been a very hard time for the people of the community who had battle with epileptic power supply for the past one year.

Mr. Jagaba Malama who wished Senator Uba Sani good luck in his quest expressed hope restoration of water supply and other social amenities in the community.

In her remarks, Women leader of the community, Mrs Mary Danlami assured of women’s active participation from the community during the forth coming election.

On his part, Mr Chris Nnoli, a former president of igbo community also appreciated the Senator’s gesture.
