National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure NASEI has stressed the need for Academicians to imbibe scholarly publications to promote the socioeconomic development of communities.
The Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Professor Muhammad SANI Haruna said during the public presentation of books in Zaria.
Professor SANI Haruna explained that if academicians write on issues facing their communities such would reduce the hardship faced by citizens.
He added that publications about vocational education among others would encourage the younger generations to become self-reliant in Education which was of limited impact.
Professor Muhammad SANI Haruna stressed the need to strategize on the
reduction of fake certificates from Cotonou in Benin Republic because of
prioritization of degrees instead of skill
Professor Muhammad SANI Haruna called for the harmonization of Nigerian union in the universities under one umbrella to work as a team .
He also advocated for
University Salary Structure and indeed l Tertiary Institutions should be
decentralised in such a way that lecturers were paid for productivity hours.
The Emir of zazzau Malam Ahmed Nuhu bamalli on his part called for individuals to support the development of education across the country.
MAL Ahmed Nuhu advised Kaduna state government to declare emergency on the education sector.
in an interview the writer of the four books professor Aminu ladan said the publication of four books was his contribution to nation-building and sustainable development of the country.
Professor Aminu Ladan charged the younger ones to imbibe the culture of reading and writing to face global challenges.
Reviewers of the books said all the books have a direct impact on the lives of citizens, sustainability of the country’s integrity, Nation building and improving the socio-economic development of citizens, especially the education sector.
