Independent National Electoral Commission INEC says it will display a list of registered voters in all the electoral wards across Jigawa state.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Professor Muhammad Lawal Bashar disclosed this to newsmen in Dutse.
According to him, the registered voters will check names and pictures in their various wards from 12th to 25th November 2022.
Professor Muhammad Lawal Bashar who urged the Media to sensitize people about the project said the commission would address the claims, objections and complaints within the stipulated period.
He further explained that the display exercise at the registration wards would be undertaken by the staff of the commission and supported by members of the National Youth Service Corps NYSC.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner pointed out that, the commission made arrangements on how people with disability especially the blind would check names and cast their votes during the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
