Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger state has attributed the current security challenges bedevilling the North to the lookworm attitude of some parents in the region towards their children.

The Governor was speaking in Minna on the sixty second Independence anniversary celebration of Nigeria.

Alh Abubakar Sani Bello lamented that many parents in the region most atimes doesnt  know where their children sleeps and the kind of people they keep as friend thereby creating a serious gap that usually ended up in an unpleasant consequences.

According to him parents most collectively rise to the challenges of accepting their leadership role of nuturing their children to become useful to themselves and society.  

Alh Abubakar Sani Bello who went memory lane  however recalled that in the sixtees seventees eightees and ninetees Nigerians travel any time and any day freely without thinking of any problem on their way.

Again he further explained that Nigerians at that time also doesnt have to travel abroad for their medication and education since we have all the standard facilities in the country but to his dismay things kept changing for worst.

Alh Abubakar Sani Bello expressed optimism that we can restore the good old days if we collectively agree to work together for national growth and development.

He said though this will be his last address to Nigerlites as a Governor hoped that the incoming administration will continue to organise similar anniversary celebration to ginger youths to be more committed to susutaining and promoting the onesss of Nigeria.
