Muhammad Gudaji Kazaure Loses Re-election Bid

The Lawmaker representing Kazaure, Gwiwa, Roni and Yankwashi Federal Constituency has lost the re-election bid on the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC in Jigawa State.

Muhammad Gudaji Kazaure lost the bid to secure the party’s ticket to Architect Mukhtar Muhammad Zanna.

The Returning Officer declared Muhammad Zanna as the winner of the party primary election after scoring 89 votes, Muhammad Zakari got 70 votes while the incumbent Lawmaker scored 26 votes.

Similarly, a former Commissioner for Agriculture Muhammad Alhassan got 7 votes while Abdullahi Mainasara had 7 votes.

Other candidates who won the Federal House of Representatives tickets in the  state include, Makki Abubakar Elleman.

Mallam Madori/Kaugama Federal Constituency ,Engineer Magaji Da’u Aliyu

Buji/Birnin kudu Federal Constituency, Ibrahim Abdullahi Kemba

Dutse/Kiyawa Federal Constituency, Yusuf Sa’idu Miga

Jahun/Miga Federal Constituency and Abubakar Hassan fulata, Birniwa/Guri/ KiriKasamma Federal Constituency.

Also Isah Idris Gwaram, Gwaram Federal Constituency, Sa’ad Wada Taura Ringim/Taura Federal Constituency, Aminu Kanta Babura, Babura/ Garki Federal Constituency and Nazifi Sani Gumel/ Maigatari/Gagarawa/Sule Tankarkar Federal Constituency.

The election for Hadejia/Auyo/Kafin-Hausa Federal Constituency was declared inconclusive.
