A Gubernatorial Aspirant under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Kaduna State Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed has withdrawn from the contest citing irregularities in the party primaries.
Senator Datti while briefing newsmen on the development in Kaduna said evidences from the ongoing primaries proved that anticipated changes in the nations political processes are yet to manifest which is inconsistent with his purpose of being into politics.
Senator Datti emphasized that he remained a loyal member of the PDP but urged all political parties to focus on capacities of contestants and bring out candidates who are duly qualified as the best for the country.
According to him leaders who over utilized their resources to get to power usually have to recoup what they spent before thinking of any developmental programs
