New Kaduna NSCDC Commandant Assumes Office

The newly posted Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps’-NSCDC in Kaduna State, Mr Idris Yahya Adah has pledged to do his best towards repositioning the corps in the State.

In a statement by spokesperson of the Command, DSC Habeeb Badamasi, the new Commandant made the pledge while addressing officers and men shortly after taking over leadership of the command.

Mr Idris Yahya Adah charged personnel of the command to perform their duties with diligence and shun acts of compromise and misconduct.

He maintained that the corps would perform its mandate without compromise with support of the state government and relevant stakeholders.

The Commandant pointed out that the already established synergy between the NSCDC and other sister agencies being enjoyed within the state would be improved and strengthened.

Mr Idris Yahya Adah urged the media to always verify their facts with a view to fostering unity, and also appealed to people in the state to provide useful information to the corps.
