President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, to convey his condolences on the passing of President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

He is scheduled to present the condolence and contrary letter to the new President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and thereafter review the bonds of a long-lasting friendship between the 2 countries.

In a congratulatory message to the new UAE leader, he reaffirmed Nigeria’s relationship with the country, noting that the cooperation has helped Nigeria in tracking down illegal assets and tracing terrorists’ funds.

Under the new leadership, President Buhari said he looked forward to a bigger and stronger partnership for peace, stability, and prosperity for both countries.
