Former Rivers state Governor and immediate past minister of Transportation Mr Rotimi Amaechi has said that he is the most experienced presidential aspirant considering the various positions he held.
The former Minister of Transportation and APC presidential aspirant stated this when he met with party delegates in Minna Niger state.
Mr Rotimi Amaechi explained that he was one time Speaker Rivers State House of Assembly two term Governor of Rivers state Chairman Nigeria Governors Forum and Director Campaign Organisation of President Muhammadu Buhari twice.
According to him he knows the problem of Nigeria and Nigerians and that he has the capacity to fix them having governed a state with security challenges like Niger state succesfully.
Mr Rotimi Amaechi however said he is not a sectional leader and that he doesnt want to be known as a Yoruba Hausa or Igbo candidate but as a Nigerian while informing the delegates that Baro sea port and construction of rail line from Minna to Baro have been awarded by the Federal government.
In his remarks Governor Abubakar Sani Bello commended the effort of former Minister of Transportation at ensuring such spprovals which he said has laid to rest some of the misgivings they have earlier generated.
While at the palace of Emir of Minna Alh Umar Faruk Bahago said the immense experience of Rotimi Amaechi qualifies him to lead Nigeria.
