Governor Badaru Abubakar has been commended for the laudable economic empowerment initiatives undertaken by his administration in Jigawa state.
Alhaji Farouk Adamu Aliyu stated this during the formal declaration for the office of the State Government under the All Progressives Congress APC held in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital.
According to him, the goat rearing scheme iniatiated by the present administration has become a national model adopted by other states.
The APC Gubernatorial Aspirant added that loans for small scale farmers and petty traders have been sourced and provided by the state government.
Alhaji Farouk Adamu Aliyu pointed out that, his decision to succeed Governor Badaru was to continue with the implementation of noble policies and programmes of his administration.
He said, the present administration in the state, had invested so many resources in the provisions of infrastructural development across all parts of the state.
Farouk pointed out that, some of the infrastructures include completion of abandoned road projects by the previous government, Construction and upgrading of new roads and feeder roads to various communities to ease transportation of goods and services.
He said others include completion of abandoned electrification projects, provision of new ones and invested resources to improving water supply in urban and rural communities, provisions of solar lighting in various local government areas as well as the connection of major water schemes with solar.
According to him, “if elected, My decision is to continue with the implementation of noble policies and programs of governor Badaru’s administration”.
Farouk Adamu Aliyu therefore, hoped that the incumbent Governor shall guide and support them in the electioneering and post election period.
