After many months of horse-trading and high intrigues, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has thrown its 2023 Presidential Ticket open to all zones of the country.
By this decision, the party has rejected the call and expectation to Zone its Presidential ticket to the South saying that the move is to prevent complications in the process.
The decision was taken at the 96th Meeting of the PDP National Executive Committee, NEC in Abuja where the Party should also resolve to work towards a consensus candidate where possible.
A Communique issued at the End of the NEC Meeting says the party also set up a National Convention Organizing Committee under the leadership of Senator David Mark.
