The member representing Zaria Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Dr Abbas Tajuddeen has felicitated with Muslim Ummah as they celebrate the eid ul Fitr festival, urging them to intensify prayers for peace, security and stability of the nation.
This was contained in his Sallah message shortly after the traditional durbar held at Emir of Zazzau’s palace in Zaria.
Dr.Tajuddeen who is also the Iyan-Zazzau expressed delight over the colourful durbar organized by the emirate, saying that it was a sign of peaceful coexistence despite prevailing insecurity in the area.
The legislator assured people that projects worth one point two billion naira would be executed in various parts of the constituency, this year.
He said that last year over 35 constituency projects have been executed including the construction and renovation of schools, primary health care centres, vocational training centres and provision of solar street lights, electric transformers, youths and women empowerment programmes.
Dr Tajuddeen stated that this year’s projects would be centred on capital and human development for the rapid socio-economic and political growth of the area.
