Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar has directed Muslims in the country to start looking for the cresent of Shaaban from today the third of March 2022, equivalent to Islamic calendar 29th of Rajab 1443 after Hijira.
This was made known in a statement signed by the chairman Advisory Committee Sultanate council Sokoto state, Professor Sambo Wali Junaidu.
He said if sighted the information should be forwarded to the nearest village or district head for onward communication to the Sultan.
