National Assembly has assured the Nigeria Labour Congress that the voting exercise in the constitutional review report will be done in favour of Nigerians.

The House leader Hon Alasan Ado Doguwa who represented the Speaker of the House Representatives gave the assurance while addressing members of the NLC who visited the National Assembly in support of the voting proceedings

Also the Chairman Senate Committee on Labour, Senator Akwashiki Godiya said all that the Nigerian Labour brought forward for consideration were before the State Houses of Assemblies Nationwide.

Speaking Earlier, the Chairman of the NLC Comrade Ayuba Waba said they came to the National Assembly in support of at least three bills including the Autonomy of Local Government Areas as well as their finances also the independence of the judiciary

The other bill is the independence of Assemblies and also the issue of women on 35percent, their indigeneship and the rest.

Already voting is currently ongoing at the two chambers of the National Assembly on the sixty right bills altogether.
