Zamfara State High Court Seven sitting in Gusau has adjourned a suit filed by Senator Kabiru Marafa against the All Progressive Congress, APC to 14th, March 2022.

The Presiding Judge, Justice Bello Kucheri confirmed this during the court proceeding in Gusau, the state capital.

Marafa, a chieftain of the APC in the suit number ZM/GS/71/2022 sought for the nullification of the just concluded APC congresses in the state.

The Counsel to Marafa, Barrister John Shaka, prayed the court to declare that the Ward, Local government and the state congresses conducted by the APC in Zamfara State was illegal.

He urged the court to nullify the congresses and order the party to conduct fresh congresses that would allow full participation of all party members.

Barrister Shaka also accused the defendants, the APC and Governor Mai-Mala Buni of Yobe and APC Caretaker National Chairman and Extraordinary Convention Committee of disregarding the party’s rules.
