The executives of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Taraba state have been inaugurated.

State chairman of the party Barrister Ibrahim El_Sudi while performing the inauguration said he was mandated by the chairman National caretaker committee of the party Mai Mala Buni to inaugurate the state executives.

“As you are aware that l was inaugurated along with 36 state chairmen of this our great party in Abuja and we are mandated to do so in our various states,” he said.

The inauguration was conducted despite a court case challenging the legality of the state Congress which produced the present state executives.

However, El_Sudi Ibrahim urged the factional section of the party to withdraw their court case and come and join the state executives to move the party forward.

He said the present executive of the party aims to win the governorship seat of the state and all other seats in the 2023 general election.

“We should know that court case will not do us any good and our focus should be on how to win all the elections in the 2023 general election” he further stated.

The chairman, stated further that the present executives of the party in the state were ready to work and receive advice from all party members adding that their doors are open to all members.

El_Sudi also advised members against political thuggery and all acts capable of breaching peace adding that the party needs stability to achieve its aims now and in 2023.
