Zamfara Assembly Loses Two Members, Passes Education Trust Fund Into Law

The Speaker Zamfara State house of assembly Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya has charged his colleagues to concentrate fully on pure legislative matters to ensure good representation.

He also reminded them of the challenges in 2022 legislative year which he described as political year ahead of 2023 general election emphasising the need to work hard for the success of the party.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Director General, Press Affairs and Public Relations of the house, Mustapha Jafaru Kaura.

Speaker Magarya, also read a condolence letter written by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Zamfara state duly signed by the state resident Electoral Commissioner Professor Saidu Muhammad condoling the House.

The house has lost two members ,
Hon Ahamed G. Ahamed representing Shikafi local government area and Hon. Ibrahim Muhammad Naiddah member representing Gusau 1 in the state respectively.

Similarly, the House also considered and approved a report of the House standing committee on Basic, secondary and Non-formal Education on a bill to establish state Education trust fund .
