Jigawa State Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees NULGE has reaffirmed commitments to improving the well being of its members.
The Chairman of the Chapter, Comrade Abubakar Garba Shitu gave the assurance when he led executive members on a courtesy call to Governor Badaru Abubakr at government house Dutse.
According to him, the Union is proud of the prompt payment of salaries, pension, gratuity and training of Local government employees in the state.
Comrade Abubakar Garba called for the inclusion of its representatives in the State Local Government Service Commission.
Responding, Governor Badaru Abubakar pledged to look into the Union’s request for the inclusion of its members in the commission.
Badaru urged them to continue praying for peace and development of the state and nigeria at large.
