President Muhammad Buhari has cancelled his official trip to Zamfara state due to bad weather.

Earlier, the presidential visit was scheduled for Zamfara State after visiting sokoto state

All efforts by Radio Nigeria correspondent to contact some government officials to comment on the issue proved abortive

At the 207 Quick Response Air Force where the president was to arrive, presidential aids were withdrawing from the place, while at government house Gusau people were seen in groups discussing the issue.

Similarly, Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara state has announced that President Muhammadu Buhari has postponed his condolence visit to Zamfara due to the sharp drop in weather condition.

He explained that, With the poor visibility, the President could not make it to Zamfara, so as Muslims, we accept it as destiny by Allah.

Governor Matawalle said he spoke with the President and assured him of rescheduling the visit soon.
