Kaduna State Government says it is ready to receive President Muhammadu Buhari for a two-day visit, from tomorrow Thursday to Friday to commission some projects in Kafanchan, Kaduna and Zaria.
Deputy Governor of the state, Dr Hadiza Balarabe made this known via her Facebook page while chairing meeting of the Task Force on the President visit at Government house kaduna.
“Kaduna State is ready to receive His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for a two-day state visit, from Thursday 20th to Friday 21st to commission some projects in Kafanchan, Kaduna and Zaria.
The Deputy Governor Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe is chairing the meeting of the Task Force on the Presidential visit at the Council Chambers of Sir Kashim Ibrahim House”
During the visit, President Buhari will inaugurate some of the completed Urban Renewal Projects Executed by Governor Nasiru Elrufai led administration to improve the wellbeing of people in the three major cities of the state.
Some of the projects to be commissioned in Kaduna include Kawo Flyover Bridge With three Ground Rotaries, Dualisation of Yakubu Gowon Way road and it’s underpass, Aliyu Makama Dualisation Road in Barnawa, Rigasa Dualisation Road that link to train station, a remodelled Murtala Square Kaduna, Rigasa Primary School among other key projects.
Urban Shelters Road from Ummaru Musa Yar’adua way to Patrick Yakowa way is also expected to be commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Other Urban Renewal Projects expected to be commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari include bridges and roads among others in Zaria and Kafanchan
