Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger state has appealed to people of Niger state and Nigerians to pray for peace unity and the continued existence of the country as an indivisible entity.

He madẹ the appeal at the special Jumaat prayer to commemorate this years Armed Forces Remembrance Day held at Jumaat mosque military cantonment Minna.

Represented by Secretary to the Niger State Government Ahmed Ibrahim Matane Governor Abubakar Sani Bello maintained that the sacrifice by the military to keep Nigeria as one must be appreciated by all.

He however gave reference to the gallant efforts they are making in tackling the current security challenges bedevilling Nigeria as one event too many.

Alh Abubakar Sani Bello also enjoined Nigerians to always pray for the soldiers and other security agencies who had paid the supreme sacrifice by given their lives in defence of Nigeria.

Earlier in his sermon Chief Imam Jumaat mosque military cantonment Minna Colonel Musa Buhari called on adherents of the religion of Islam and Christianity to as a matter of urgency support their leaders with prayers to succeed.

Colonel Musa Buhari also prayed for the reposed of soul of the fallen heroes.
