Federal Government says it has opened fresh discussion with stakeholders to ensure completion of the ongoing 215 megawatt Kudenda Power plant project in Kaduna state.

Minister of Power, Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu stated this in an Interview with newsmen shortly after inspecting the project alongside Governor Nasiru Elrufai and other Government officials.

Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu explained that, the Ministry of power was working assiduously to address all challanges affecting smooth progress of the project and other power projects across the country.

The Minister who noted that, the project had sofar reached over eighty percent completion, said in the next six month, Nigerians would begin to see improvement in power supply

He further stressed that, federal Ministry of Power had recently secured approval of ordering some power equipments which include powerful transformers for deployment in some strategic locations in the country.

Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu maintained that the present administration was making alot of Interventions in the Power sector to ensure increase and steady power supply in the country.

On the ongoing AKK Gas Pipeline, the Minister Said, Ministry of power had commenced interfacing with the NNPC on how to connect pipe that would be supplying gas in the project side.

He Urged stakeholders in the power sector to work together as a team to ensure steady power was delivered to Nigerians .
