President Muhammadu Buhari Arrives In Maiduguri

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, on a one-day official visit.

He is scheduled to inaugurate the first flyover bridge, located at the northeastern segment of Maiduguri, and a twenty-kilometer dualized highway from under the flyover to Muna town.

The President will also inaugurate a new multi-million Naira, ultra-modern center for distance learning, situated on the campus of the University of Maiduguri, built by a philanthropic businessman, Alhaji Muhammad Indimi.

Also to be commissioned by the President is a hangar, a presidential suite at the Maiduguri airport, also built by Alhaji Muhammad Indimi, as well as Tijjani Bolori Primary School, built by the state government.

He is expected to pay a courtesy visit on the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai El-Kanemi.

President Buhari is expected to address troops of Operation Hadin-kai before turning to Abuja.
