Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has presented the twenty twenty two budget proposal of N109.801, 524,879.49 billion to the State House of Assembly for consideration and approval.

The Governor presented the budget at Chamber of the State House of Assembly in Lafia, the state capital.

Governor Abdullahi Sule said that the speedy passage of the budget would enable  the state government executes developmental projects across the state.


The 2022 Budget tagged ” Budget of Sustainable Transformation” has a recurrent expenditure  of N70, 891, 582,458.57 representing 64.56 % while capital expenditure stands at 38, 909, 942,420.92 representing 35.44%.

The Governor explained that the education sector got the highest allocation with N31.83billion, followed by the health sector.

He assured the assembly of full implementation of the budget if finally passed into law for the overall development of the state.


The Speaker of the State Assembly Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi while receiving the budget assured the Governor of speedy consideration and passage of the budget. 

The speaker while commending the governor for presenting the budget, also assured him of good working relationship in order to bring the much needed development to the door step to the people of the state.
