Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle of Zamfara State has assured to restore the Telecommunications services on Monday next week.

Similarly the governor also assured of reopening of all the weekly markets across the state which were closed down following the security challenges bedeviling the and beyond.

Matawalle disclosed this while addressing APC supporters shortly after swearing in the new state’s executives of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Gusau, the Zamfara state capital.

He said because the people of zamfara have suffered a lot, that’s why the government decided to restore Telecom networks and open the weekly markets across the state.

According to him, the government is much aware of the difficulties being experienced by the people of the state, but it became imperative to shut down Telecommunication services to allow security agents to conduct their assignments effectively.

It could be recalled that the Zamfara state governor on the 4th, September 2021 ordered the total shutdown of Telecom services, all weekly markets, Cattle Markets, some Filling stations were also closed by the government.
