Jigawa state government has reiterated its commitment to partner with governments and private sectors to move the state forward.

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Badaru Abubakar on print media, Alhaji Ahmad Muhammad Danyaro disclosed this to Radio Nigeria during a courtesy visit by the Director General of the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology NITT Zaria to Governor Badaru Abubakar at government house Dutse.

He said, the Governor commended NITT  for choosing Jigawa State for it 2021 annual field study tour to examine transport and logistics systems in the state.

According to him, the state government will partner with the institute in areas of planning a modern transport masterplan and other training to assist Jigawa youths to become self-reliant and gainfully employed ultimately.

Earlier,the Director General of the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology, Dr Bayero Salih Farah commended Governor Mohammed Badaru for the developmental strides of the state under his leadership are aimed at improving the living standard of the good people of the state.

He said the team were impressed with the efforts towards improving the transport system in the state which include construction of road network and provision of vehicle loans to members of road transport workers among others in the state.
