National Examinations Council NECO has appealed to state governments yet to pay the examination fees of their candidate to do so in the interest of educatiinal development.

This is contained in a statement to Newsmen in Minna by the NECO Head of Information and Public Relations Division Mr Azeez Sani.

Mr Azeez Sani said this would help to facilitate the release of results of such candidates to enable them further their education with ease.

According to him, all adhoc staff involved in the conduct of 2021 Senior School Certificate Examination SSCE for School-Based Candidates have been fully paid by Council.

The Head, however, explained that the Adhoc staff includes eighteen thousand two hundred and forty-three Supervisors, eight hundred and eighty-seven Assistant Supervisors as well as sixty-five thousand one hundred and fifty-nine examiners.

It would be recalled that NECO Registrar and Chief Executives Prof Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi had on October twenty nineth this year announced the release of the result of twenty twenty one SSCE for School Based Candidates.
