Jigawa state government has advised parents to maintain high level of vigilance in monitoring the movements of their wards.

Alhaji Habibu Nuhu Kila

In a statement to Radio Nigeria by the Special Adviser to Governor Badaru on media and public relations,  Alhaji Habibu Nuhu Kila says the advice became necessary following reported cases of missing children in some local government areas of the state.

It explains that the state government is conscious of the security and wellbeing of its citizens across the state.

Alhaji Habibu Kila emphasised that government would continue to protect the people while urging them to report suspicious movements within their community to the nearest security agencies.

The Special Adviser also assured that relevant government organs and other stakeholders were working assiduously to safeguard the lives and property of the people in the state.
