Eleven persons kidnapped at Sabon Garin Safana in Safana Local Government Area of katsina State have regained their freedom.

In a statement by the Police Spokesman in the state, SP Gambo Isah says the victims were rescued from the hideout of the bandits at the outskirt of Tsaskiya village in Safana on Sunday.

It notes that the bandits had attacked Sabon Garin Safana village, on November 12, this year, and abducted 11 people.

According to the statement, the rescued victims were already taken to Dutsinma General Hospital for medical treatment and have been reunited with their families.

It also maintains that the perpetrators of the crime will be arrested as the investigation continues.
