The Kano state Government has vowed to implement the report gathered from the annual conference of the Faculty of Social Management Sciences Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano targeted at curtaling the menace of Covid 19 pandemic.

Secretary to the State Government Alhaji Usman Alhaji stated this during the opening ceremony of the 5th Annual conference of Faculty of Social and Management Sciences , Yusuf Maitama sule University Kano.

He said the Covid 19 pandemic has caused a lot of set back virtually in parts of development,hence efforts needed to be put in place in providing lasting solutions of curtailing the spread of the virus.

Alhaji Usman Alhaji who described the conference as timely, assured of the commitment of Kano state Government in ensuring proper management of the menace.

“Kano state Government will ensure that reports being gathered during this conference would actually be implemented by the Kano state Government”

In a remark, the Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa said the objectives of the conference was to bring professionals in the sector, so that they would rub minds together and find lasting solutions to the Covid 19 pandemic.

“Our hope is to ensure that the report that would be gathered during this conference would pave way for Curtailing the Spread of this Deadly Virus’

The conference was attended by Senior lecturers of the University and other stakeholders.
