The Senate President, Ahmed Lawal has assured Nigerians that, the issue of insecurity will be over d in the the country.

The Senate President gave the assurance when he paid a courtesy visit on the Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Samaila Muhammad Meta at his palace in Kebbi State.

Ahmed Lawal who called for continued prayers by Nigerians, said the country is in difficulties but by prayers, it would be a thing of the past.

“The legislative and the executive arms are working hand in hand to see that insecurity in the North East, North West and North Central has come to an end”.

According to him, before the expiration of the present led Buhari administration, Nigerians would have ease in their livelihood as they are now  living in difficulty.

He thanked the Emir for the title of Ganuwan Kabi given to him which he described as an honour accorded to his constituency.

The Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Samaila Muhammad Mera, thanked the Senate President for accepting the title which he said would strengthen the relationship between his emirate and that of Bade in Yobe State.

He said, Yobe and Argungu Emirates have an old history of interaction between their people.

The Emir prayed that, the present situation of insecurity in the country especially banditry would soon be a thing of the past.
