Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa says his organization has nothing to do with the raid on Mary Odili’s home.

The Supreme Court Justice is second to the Chief Justice Nigeria, Ibrahim Tanko, and the wife of former Rivers’ governor, Peter Odili.

Peter Odili is currently on the watchlist of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

On Friday, security agents carried out a search of her home in Abuja.

In an interview, Bawa expressed what he dubbed “mischief makers” trying to pit the EFCC against the court.

Associating the raid with the EFCC was an attempt to destroy the commission’s relationship with its “largest partner,” the judiciary, he added.
