Hisbah Arrests Man For Advertising Self For Sale

Kano state hisbah board says it has arrested a 26 year old man Aliyu Idris for allegedly advertising himself for sale at the rate of twenty million naira.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after interrogating the young man,commander general of the board Sheikh Dr. Harun Muhammad Sani Ibn Sina said,the young man was arrested after his picture appeared on various social media platforms carrying a placard with inscription “this man is for sale at #20,000000”

He explained that, Islam prohibits such acts of moral decadence that have become rampant in the society.

While commending the general public for the prompt action, the commander general urged parents and guardians to be more vigilant and report any suspected person or character to relevant authorities as the Kano state hisbah board will not relent in its efforts of sanitizing Kano of all forms of vices.

Responding ,Aliyu Idris an indigene of Ricifa in Soba local government area of Kaduna state ,said he was pushed into the act due to poverty.

He pointed out that,he came to Kano to meet a reknown musician and all efforts to meet him proved abortive, saying that after many days life became difficult to him due to lack of money which pushed him into advertising himself to source for funds.

Aliyu who is a tailor promised to return to his parents and desist from such acts as he acted out of lack of knowledge about Islamic rulings on such cases.

He commended the Kano state hisbah board for the manner in which he was treated after being arrested.

The Kano state hisbah commander general reaffirmed the agency’s readiness to assist Aliyu to become self reliant.
