Jigawa state government says it will benefit from the discoveries of the National Institute of Crop Science, South Korea which is an institute that specialized in Agricultural research.

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Badaru Abubakar on New Media, Alhaji Auwalu Sankara says in a statement to Radio Nigeria in Dutse.

It explains that Governor Badaru Abubakar visited the Institute on an official visit with the Nigerian Ambassador in South Korea, Alhaji Ali Mohammed Magashi.

According to the statement, they were received at the Institute by the Crop Breeding Research And Rice Breeder Mr. KANG Kyung – Ho,  who went on with them to explore the research institute and visited some of the research farms.

It adds that, after hours of inspections and meetings, the Governor guaranteed the Institution that Jigawa State will sign a memorandum of understanding with the institute.
