National Automotive Design and Development Council, NADDC, says Nigeria is exporting locally assembled cars to some African countries.

The Director-General Mr. Jelani Aliyu made this known at a forum in Abuja.

He said the cars locally assembled were been exported to Mali and South Africa.

Mr. Jelani explained that gas-powered vehicles were also been assembled in the country.

In a paper entitled, federal government’s MSMEs survival fund: Successes, lessons and pitfalls, an online news editor Mr. Cobham Nsa say the government must boost local demand for Nigerian products.

According to Mr. Nsa, every state has opportunities to grow its own export.

In another paper entitled, AFCFTA, market opportunities during/post-Covid, the senior special assistant to the president on public sector matters Mr. Francis Anatogu said some measures have been put in place to ensure Nigeria. was not used as a dumping ground for products.
