The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Kwara State Command says it has carried out forensic psychological assessment and evaluation of its armed personnel to determine their psychological status and fitness.
The commands spokesman ,Babawale Afolabi stated this while Speaking with Journalists in Ilorin.
According to him the assessment became necessary to prevent any misuse of firearms and cases of accidental discharge by the armed personnel.
He urged the participating arms bearers to make good use of the opportunity and avoid any act that can tarnish the image of the Corps.
Afolabi noted that the exercise was also the proactive measure put in place to prevent unprofessional conduct as well as ensure safety and security of members of the public.
