Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has approved the minor reshuffle of his Cabinet with immediate effect.
The Governor also approved the creation of Ministry of Wealth Creation, Empowerment and Employment Generation.
Abdullahi Bego, moved from Ministry of Home Affairs, Information and Culture to New Ministry of Wealth Creation, Empowerment and Employment Generation.
Mr Mohammed Lamin moved from Ministry of Land and Solid Minerals to Ministry of Home Affairs, Information and culture.
The Governor also approved that the responsibility for administration and management of land matters in the state including all issues relating to land allocation, title registration, use, searches, charting cadastral and planning and such other responsibilities as may be determined by the Yobe Geographic Information System (YOGIS).
The function of Ministry of land has therefore been subsumed into YOGIS.
