The Grand Khadi Dahiru Muhammad asked the newly appointed officials to swear that, they had never engaged in activities in favour of banditry, kidnapping and or cattle rustling.

Part of the oath “And I had never enjoyed killing of innocent lives or destruction of legally generated properties and will never do so, and that if I had in anyway assist banditry, may Almighty God curse me to the extent I will never achieve my dreams here in the world and the hereafter.”

Also Speaking, Governor Matawalle, said he found it necessary to swear in the newly appointed officials according to Islamic rites so that he would be contended that all his assistants were completely innocent and would serve government’s policies as expected.
