Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, has introduced practical strategies to end the security challenges facing Zamfara State and the country in general.

Assistant Inspector-General of Police Zone 10 Sokoto, Alhaji Ali Janga made this known when he visited Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State over the recent security situation in the state.

The AIG said the police under the leadership of Inspector-General of Police Usman Baba had adopted measures to end security challenges in Zamfara

Ali Janga who met with the police officers and men at the headquarters, Gusau, said the IG directed him to brief the officers and men of the command about their constitutional duties.

He assured to continue Partnering with other security agencies to tackle insecurity bedevilling the state and charged them to be proactive and alert.

Radio Nigeria reports that the AIG also visited Emir of Gusau, Alhaji Ibrahim Bello to seek for traditional rulers support in the fight against bandits in the state.
