The Kano state Consumer Protection Council says it is committed to protecting consumers right by curtailing the circulation of fake and expired products in the society.

New Managing Director of the Agency Brigadier General Idris Dambazau RTD sated this while briefing Journalist in kano.

He said the council would not relent in fishing out those engaged in trading expired and fake products.

Idris Dambazau explained that upon assumption as the new Managing Director of the agency, he had mapped out befitting strategies aim at addressing the menace.

The Managing Director noted that those engaged in such nefarious acts have no hiding place in Kano state, saying his personnel were up and doing in ensuring that those perpetrators were apprehended and brought to justice.
