Management of the Ilorin Central Jum’mat Mosque in Kwara state have erected close circuit television (CCTV) in the mosque complex to ensure security of worshippers.

The CCTV project covers both the interior and exterior parts of the expansive mosque complex, which functions can be monitored by the designated officers from their phones and any part of the world.

The chairman of the Mosque’s Central Working Committee, Alhaji Sheu AbdulGafar, disclosed this during the meeting of the mosque’s board of trustees and stakeholders in Ilorin.

AbdulGafar, who presented the 2021 progress report of the Mosque added that the management also completed the mosque’s library complex which has over 20,000 collection of books and journals covering all aspects of Islamic studies and a few professional books in engineering, law, accounting and English language.

The library which is equipped with internet facility, serves both digital and manual users.
