The Commandant, NSCDC Kano Command Commandant Abu Abdu Tambuwal has approved the deployment of 1,750 personnel to provide security cover at various Eid grounds, palaces, monuments, event and recreational centres across the state.

This was contained in a media statement signed by the public relations officer of the Command DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi,and was made available to Radio Nigeria in Kano.

The Statement Explained that NSCDC has been expanding its intelligence network with a view to nip in the bud any security threat in the state during the festive period.

The Corps is on alert and poised to deal decisively with miscreants/thugs who might unfortunately wish to foment trouble and disrupt public peace in whatever guise before, during after sallah.

The general public are to be calm as all efforts are being made by the Corps and indeed all the security agencies for a hitch free 2021 Eid-el Kabir celebrations in Kano.
